Open or select a document to edit, then do any of the following to put the document in Edit mode:

• Choose Actions - Edit Document.
• Press CTRL+E (Macintosh users, COMMAND+E).
• Double-click in the text of an open document.

• To return the document to Read mode, press CTRL+E (Macintosh users, COMMAND+E). Putting a document in Read mode prevents you from making edits in the document.
• Double-click in the text area of an open document in the preview pane to put a document appearing in the preview pane in Edit mode.
