MAIL AND ADDRESS BOOK
Mail quotas
In some organizations, your mail administrator may set a quota for size of mail databases. If a quota is in force and your mail database becomes larger than the limit set for you, you will start to see warning dialog boxes that you are over quota. In addition, new mail arriving for you may be delayed, and you won't be able to save sent mail.
What you can do
Delete mail
. After deleting any messages you can in all other views of mail, be sure to go to the Trash folder and empty trash.
Archive mail
.
Ask your administrator to increase the size of the quota.
Tip
If your user preference for saving sent mail is "Always keep a copy," you may be saving many messages unnecessarily. Consider using the setting "Always prompt," so that you can think about whether you really need to save each message.
